Day 01: Madurai: On arrival at Madurai, you will be received and transferred to check-in at your hotel. Remaining day is kept at leisure.
Day 02: Madurai: Morning enjoy visit to the Meenakshi temple – a superb example of Dravidian architecture and sculpture, the focal point around which the city has developed. Later visit Tirumal Nayak Palace constructed in the Indo – Saracenic style in 1639 AD. The curved dome, standing without the support of a girder or rafter, is an architectural feat Pass by the Mariamman Teppakulam – the tank with mandapam in the centre. Evening you may attend the very special “night ceremony” at Meenakshi Temple. The ceremony takes place every evening about 2100 Hrs, when the temple bronze of Lord Shiva is carried to the bed-chamber of Parvati. The procession is accompanied by religious prayer and enchanting temple music. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 03: Tanjore: Drive further to Tanjore – the rice bowls of Tamil Nadu. En-route visit temple town Trichy to see the beautiful temples. On arrival at Tanjore, check in at your hotel. Rest of time is kept at leisure.
Day 04: Tanjore: During the day take city tour which includes your visit to the famous Brahadeswara temple (or the big temple of God). The temple tower rises to a height of 15 meters from a square base of 29 meters and then tapers off, making a total of 66 meters. Later, visit few other temples & tourist attractions of the city. Rest of time is kept at leisure.
Day 05: Chennai: After breakfast drive to Chennai while visiting Kumabakonam on the way. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest of time is kept free for leisure.
Day 06: Chennai: During the day take a visit to Anna Zoological Park, Birla Planetarium, Govt. Museum, Church of Fort St. George and crocodile bank in a guided sightseeing tour. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Cochin: Morning you will be assist to board the flight to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin airport you will be welcomed by our representative and will transferred to your hotel to check in. Rest of day is kept free at leisure.
Day 08: Cochin: After breakfast enjoy guided sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin which includes your visit to Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing nets. In the evening, you may enjoy ‘Kathakali Dance performance’ in a local theatre near to your hotel. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 09: Kumarakom: Morning you will be transferred to check in at your backwaters resort. Rest of time is kept at leisure. Kumarakom is located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake in the Kuttanad region and renowned for its natural beauty. It is an ideal base to experience the famous Kerala backwaters, replete with meandering lagoons, coconut trees, endless rows of paddy fields interspersed by waterways and canals.
Day 10: Kumarakom: Day is kept at leisure. During the day, you may rejuvenate your body and mind by the Ayurvedic treatments at the resort.
Day 11: Delhi: At appropriate check out from your resort and you will be transferred to Cochin airport to board the flight to Delhi. On arrival, you will be received and transferred to check in at your hotel. Rest of time is kept at leisure.
Day 12: Delhi (Departure): At appropriate time check out from your hotel and you will be transferred to Delhi international terminal to board your onward destination flight. The tour ends.
